I’m currently open to submissions until 2028. Queries accepted through QueryManager.
As an acquisitions editor for City Owl Press, I’m highly selective about the manuscripts I take on. I look for character-driven stories featuring strong female leads navigating diverse, immersive worlds, as well as OWN-voices stories that blend literary depth with high-concept fantasy.
What I’m Looking For:
- Unique magic systems, settings, and characters that reflect the diverse world we live in—or the ones we want to escape to.
- Well-written fiction across all sub-genres with at least some romance elements—but my soft spots are fantasy romance, cozy fantasy, humor, sci-fantasy, found families, and mystery.
- A really funny, cozy fantasy that breaks the mold. Surprise me.

Romantasy, Fantasy Romance, Dark Romance, Literary Fantasy, Historical Fantasy, Cozy Romance, Paranormal Romance, Science Fantasy, Mystery and Contemporary Romance

The Everlasting, Spinning Silver, The Foxglove King, Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries, The Witch’s Heart, Piranesi, Divine Rivals, One Dark Window, The Love Hypothesis and The Boyfriend Project.
What I’m Not Looking For:
- Military sci-fi worlds
- Damsels in distress
- Non-fiction
- Fallen angel tropes, vampires, or shifter stories

Freelance Edits
I am open to all genres for freelance edits, including non-fiction, young adult, academic papers, and resumes.
However, I’m NOT interested in religious or political projects.
My Favorite shows to binge:
